As part of the Berwick Clyde Road upgrade project, essential power cutover works will take place on Wednesday 18 June from 7:00am to 4:00pm. These works are required to connect the old power mains to the new system and will affect both pedestrian and vehicle access.
During this time, please be aware of the following changes in the Clyde Road/Kangan Drive precinct: - Pedestrian access across Clyde Road—between Sir Gustav Nossal Boulevard and Kangan Drive—will be closed. - A pedestrian detour will be in place via Enterprise Avenue and through the Berwick Station car park. Traffic controllers will be on-site to assist. - A section of the northbound right-turn lane into McDonald’s on Clyde Road will be closed, but the right-hand turn into McDonald’s car park will remain open. - There will be southbound lane closures on Clyde Road outside McDonald’s, and no right-hand turn will be permitted into Sir Gustav Nossal Boulevard.
