Scheduled - Over the April school holidays, the Dandenong campus will experience disruptive works as construction of the Dandenong Tech School progresses.
Tuesday 7 April – Friday 10 April
Extensive works will take place across central areas of the Dandenong campus, including:
• Boring works to install new communications cabling beneath the main courtyard between buildings A, B and C.
• Regular truck movements for debris and dust extraction (mitigation measures in place).
• High levels of noise, ground vibration and echo affecting buildings A, B, C, D, F, G and P.
Thursday 9 April - Power and Water outage
• A full campus power and water shutdown will occur Thursday 9 April, 6:00am–6:00pm, affecting all buildings excluding R, S, T and W. Unaffected buildings located on the Cleeland Street side of campus will remain operational and will host scheduled classes.
What this means for staff and students
• Thursday 2 April - Carpark between buildings C and P closed to enable construction work set up.
• Tuesday 7 April to Friday 10 April - Aroma Café closed.
• Wednesday 8 April to Friday 10 April - IT Service Desk will be operating from the Berwick and Frankston campuses for scheduled device collection appointments.
• Wednesday 8 April - Enrolment and Enquiry Hub and Library and Learning Centre staff will be located in the Student Support Hub (Building F).
• Thursday 9 April to Friday 10 April - Student Support Hub, Enrolment and Enquiry Hub and Library and Learning Centre closed.
• Wednesday 8 April to Friday 17 April - The car park area between Dandenong campus Buildings C and P will be closed to allow for repairs after the construction and services works.
